Tradeshow Booth

For an business that relies heavily on partner support, attending events and tradeshows is pertinent. With an attendance to over 50+ events per year throughout North America, it was important that the booth design was stand-out in any environment, had the ability to swap out products, and was easily transportable.

My task was to design a booth that met all of the criteria while speaking directly to the brand. The result was a highly flexible design that has continued to stand out at events for the last four years without needing a complete booth redesign.

Design Flexibility

When designing the tradeshow booth itself, it was very important that the products shown were interchangeable. It was also important that the booth was easily transferable so that it could move quickly in shipping, keep costs down, and be available to the entire sales team to easily set up and tear down at events.

Working with engineering, we designed the booth the have a hydraulic lift to easily fold up the table. This also gave access to the electric elements on the top so that products could be swapped out.

Since it’s initial iteration, we have updated the wood paneling to better match our brand and cohesively travel between our office and events.

Marketing Collateral

Over the years, I have designed a number of print materials and giveaways for over 200 hundred events.

By measuring results through QR code campaign tracking, website traffic specifically from event materials has increased 60% year over year.

Brand Recognition

When introducing ourselves at events, we used to first ask “Have you heard of us?” We stopped asking it because the answer changed from frequent 'no’s’ to ‘What’s new?”

After a year of having the booth in rotation at events, our brand significantly increased recognition. Paired with this and digital marketing efforts, we saw a massive increase in year over year revenue, nearly 100% growth.

We even one a Best Booth award in our category at the #1 lighting largest lighting event in the country.

Partner Collaboration

Themed events often required partner branding, which allowed me to get a little more creative to help us stand out against other brands.
