In 2014, I took a magazine layout course at the University of Connecticut as a part of my Journalism curriculum. I fell in love with InDesign and typography, and my passion for graphic design began. After I started my career in marketing, I quickly realized how useful it was to integrate my two skillsets.

Right now, I am the marketing manager at Lumenture, a company that designs and manufacturers commercial lighting. This is the first time I’ve worked in only one industry which has given me the ability to truly learn about the lighting industry and grow the business. It has truly been an amazing experience and has helped me grow as a marketing professional outside of my comfort zone.

I’ve worked for numerous clientele made up of large companies, small businesses, professional advertising agencies, and friends. My favorite part of my job is its versatility, which allows me to meet clients from all different backgrounds because I love meeting new people and helping them succeed. One day, I hope to open my own design business to continue helping others grow.
